Player must present original at registration. League will keep a copy on file.

Original proof of age document issued by federal, state or provincial registrars of vital statistics in the country the Little Leaguer is participating. NOTE 1: NO ABSTRACTS NO PASSPORTS |

If country differs, same docs as #1 but must be filed, recorded, registered or issued within 1 year of the birth of child |

Original document issued same as #1, listing the date of birth with reference to the location and issue date of the original birth certificate. (Normally a certified copy of an original proof of document.) |

Player born abroad of parent or parents who are U.S. Citizens, any government document issued by a U.S. federal agency. For military DOD ID cards & military hospital certificates are acceptable. These must be originals and must refer to a filing, recording, registration or issue date within 1 year of birth of child. |

A “Statement in Lieu of Acceptable Proof of Birth” issued by a District Administrator |
NOTE 1: California Abstract Certificate of Birth is no longer a valid proof of age document.
A passport is not a legal proof of age document.
HOW TO OBTAIN A BIRTH CERTIFICATE
Contact the local County Recorder where the player was born. For Santa Clara County: (Fee $17)
